
RENTING A HOME
Renting through Alex Neil couldn’t be easier. Below we have summarised the process in three easy steps:
1) Once you find a property and put forward an acceptable offer, a nominal fee for referencing and administration will be payable as well as a holding deposit equivalent to one-weeks rent (this will be deducted from the balance of move-in monies). The property will be removed from the market and held until your required move-in date.
2) Your tenancy will be subject to appropriate referencing and credit checks; you will be supplied with details of our referencing agent for these checks to be undertaken.
3) On the day of move-in you will be required to visit our office to sign the necessary paperwork and pay, in cleared funds, the balance of move-in monies (one calendar months rent in advance, plus a six-week security deposit). The security deposit will be returned at the end of the tenancy, subject to the terms of the tenancy agreement.
You will be given the keys and your tenancy will commence.
